Equine-Assisted Growth & Learning (working with horses) helps clients change and grow more effectively and quickly than the more traditional clinical and psycho-educational approaches that's because people typically learn best by doing. Life lessons take deeper root when individuals both understand them in their heads and experience them in their bodies. Working with horses is engaging, real time and hands-on and the experience is immediate and fully felt.
Equine-Assisted Learning programs are a powerful journey of learning and understanding for those who participate. Horses in this program are effective teaching tools; immediately responding to what participants do. Trained facilitators look for "teachable moments" that horses identify. Quite simply, the horse does the teaching; facilitators are there to offer an explanation and provide guidance as they work through the solution.
Equine Family Therapy is a unique and powerful way to explore the patterns and roles in you family while learning new ways of being with each other. You can work on your parenting, communication and relationships while working on past, current or future issues.
It's all on the ground Equine therapy sessions involve no horseback riding. Why? In this work, the horses are able to be themselves and not have to act a certain way, just like our clients can do. This is a space to explore, be ourselves, and build relationships on an equal footing.

"I have had many ‘talk therapies’ in my life, but this was totally different and very powerful – I could step away from my usual intellectualizing and just be and maybe it was this that enabled me to gain so much insight and to really ‘cut through’ stuff. This therapy has really changed things for me. I have noticed less fear and more inner stability.”
Equine therapy is all about relationship
either with self or connecting to others the horses teach us about ourselves and our relationships.
